HOW TO: Repair table in phpMyAdmin

Checking MySQL databases

  1. Login to cPanel.

  2. Next, click phpMyAdmin under DATABASES section in the home screen.

  3. Then, choose the database you wish to check.
4. Choose the tables to be checked. Or you can click the select all link located at the bottom of the table list.
5. From the drop-down list, select Check Table. You will need to finish the repair process if there are any mistakes in the result window. In our example there is no errors.

Repairing MySQL databses

  1. Firstly, login to cPanel.

  2. Then, click phpMyAdmin under DATABASES section in the home screen.

  3. Choose a database to continue.

  4. Next, select the checkbox for the tables in the database that you want to repair.

  5. Lastly, click Repair Table. You will be informed by phpMyAdmin whether the repair process is successful or not.

Optimizing MySQL databases

  1. Firstly, login to cPanel.

  2. Then, click phpMyAdmin under DATABASES section in the home screen.

  3. Choose a database to continue.

  4. Next, select the checkbox for the tables in the database that you want to optimize.

  5. Lastly, click Optimize Table. You will be informed by phpMyAdmin whether the optimization process is successful or not.
