One Mac. One Static IP. Always yours.
Every dedicated Mac mini M6 and Mac mini M4 you rent from Casbay ships with a static IP address a fixed address on the internet that never changes for as long as your node is reserved. Here's what that actually gets you.
What is a static IP address?
An IP address is how machines find each other on the internet. A static IP address is fixed it's assigned to your dedicated Mac mini and stays exactly the same for the entire time you rent the node, through reboots, through maintenance windows, through months of uptime. Anything that needs to reliably find your machine your CI runner config, a firewall rule, a DNS record can point at that one address and never has to be updated again.
It comes included as standard on every Mac mini plan. If your workflow calls for something different geo-testing, rotating exit points, or blending in with real consumer traffic — we also offer residential dynamic IP for your Mac mini as an alternative option.
Residential Dynamic IP
- ✓Rotates through real residential ranges
- ✓Blends in for geo-testing & scraping
- ✓Also available for your Mac mini
- ✓Best when you want a fresh IP profile
Static IP (included as standard)
- ✓Fixed for the life of the node
- ✓CI runners stay registered
- ✓Whitelist it once, done
- ✓Clean reverse DNS & signing
Built for the way you actually use a dedicated Mac
A static IP isn't a nice-to-have on a machine you connect to daily for builds, signing, and remote desktop work it's what makes the workflow dependable.
Predictable remote access
SSH, Apple Remote Desktop, and Deskin connections always resolve to the same address no re-discovering your Mac after a reboot or maintenance window.
Stable CI runner registration
GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins runners tied to your Mac mini's IP keep working build after build, with no re-authentication or re-registration.
Reliable firewall & allowlisting
Lock down access to your build server, VPN, or internal tools by IP once the rule stays valid for as long as you hold the node.
Clean code signing & notarization
Apple's notarization service and certificate infrastructure behave consistently when requests always originate from the same known address.
Proper DNS & reverse DNS
Point a domain or subdomain straight at your Mac mini and keep it pointed useful for self-hosted services, licensing servers, or a personal build dashboard.
Dependable webhooks & API endpoints
Any third-party service that calls back into your Mac Slack notifications, Xcode Cloud alternatives, custom tooling — keeps working without endpoint churn.
Not an add-on. It's standard.
Every Casbay dedicated Mac mini plan — M6 and M4, on any billing term includes one static IP address by default. No extra line item, no separate request.

A few common questions
Does the static IP cost extra?
No. One static IP address is included with every dedicated Mac mini M6 and Mac mini M4 plan, on every billing term.
Does the IP change if I upgrade or extend my term?
As long as your node stays reserved to you, the address stays the same extending or renewing your term does not trigger a change.
Can I point my own domain at it?
Yes. Create an A record pointing at your Mac mini's static IP, and it will resolve consistently since the address never rotates.
Which plan should I choose?
The Mac mini M6 suits teams that want the newest Apple silicon for CI and on-device AI inference. The Mac mini M4 is a proven option for Xcode builds, iOS testing, and remote desktop work.
