The following configuration settings are appropriate for third party email clients such as Outlook Eudora, iPad, etc.<\/p><p>When using the example below, be sure to replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.<\/p><p><strong>Your\/Display name:<\/strong>\u00a0anything you want<br \/><strong>Email address:<\/strong>\u00a0enter the full address (name@yourdomain.com)<\/p><p><strong>Type of connection:<\/strong>\u00a0POP3 or IMAP (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.casbay.com.my\/guide\/kb\/difference-between-pop-imap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">what is the difference ?<\/a>)<\/p><p><strong>Incoming mail server:<\/strong>\u00a0mail.yourdomain.com<br \/><strong>Outgoing mail server:<\/strong>\u00a0mail.yourdomain.com<br \/>Outgoing mail server does require authentication.<\/p><p><strong>Incoming mail port:<\/strong>\u00a0110 for POP3, 143 for IMAP<br \/><strong>Outgoing mail port:<\/strong>\u00a025 (If 25 does not work, try 26, as some ISPs block port 25)<\/p><p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0For Comcast\/Xfinity Internet customers, port 587 is available for use as ports 25 and 26 are blocked on their network.<br \/>No SSL boxes should be checked*<\/p><p><strong>Username\/Account name:<\/strong>\u00a0must be the full email address (name@yourdomain.com). Sometimes this setting won\u2019t work until you replace the @ with a + in the username.<\/p><p><strong>Password:<\/strong>\u00a0the email password. Do NOT use SPA (secure password authentication).<\/p><p>* The configuration settings above are for a non-secure email connection.
