The procedure differs, depending on the Plesk version and operating system.<\/p><p><strong>Linux server:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>Plesk version 10.2\u00a0<\/strong>or higher<\/li><li><strong>Plesk version 10.1\u00a0<\/strong>or lower<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Windows server<\/strong><\/p><p>You must perform the following step to retrieve the Plesk admin password in plain text.<\/p><p><strong>Linux server<\/strong>:<\/p><p>The Plesk password can only be accessed by logging in to the panel by SSH and the user root.
