Message in the <strong>cPanel<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>-&gt;<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Resource Usage<\/strong>\u00a0section and this article will explain why.<\/p><p>We run CloudLinux on our servers which allows us to limit each user account. In order to ensure server stability and speed for everybody \u2013 including yourself.<\/p><p>The most important fact to keep in mind when thinking about these limits is that you can and likely will hit these limits on almost a daily basis.\u00a0 The best analogy is to compare your CPU usage to the accelerator pedal in a vehicle.<\/p><p>One may need to press the pedal all the way to the floor to get moving quickly just as your account. May use 100% of its CPU to process a request as quickly as possible.<\/p><p>In short \u2013 it\u2019s absolutely normal for your account to have spikes of 100%.\u00a0<span class=\"word\">Because\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"word\">of\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"word\">this,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"word\">CPU\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"word\">use\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"word\">and &#8216;restrict&#8217; <\/span><span class=\"word\">your\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"word\">account<\/span>.\u00a0 The limitation notice simply exists as you were. In fact, the limitation of CPU allocation you have on your account and does not automatically. In and of itself, indicate a problem.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9047323 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"9047323\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/casbay.com\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Resourse-usage-graph.png\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9178173 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9178173\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figure id=\"attachment_6045\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6045\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6045\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Resource usage graph<\/figcaption><\/figure>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-51f9613 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"51f9613\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span class=\"word\">Here\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"word\">is\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"word\">a\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"word\">graph\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"word\">showing\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"word\">the\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"word\">boundaries\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"word\">and hitting <\/span><span class=\"word\">the\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"word\">message<\/span>. \u201cYour site has been limited within the past 24 hours\u201d will show but this graph is absolutely normal:<\/p><p>In this case, the average is actually 0% but you can see there are a couple of spikes to 100% which is why it reports the site limitation.<\/p><p>When it comes to determining whether or not you\u2019re using too many resources generally you will need to look first to see.If you\u2019re experiencing any faults which you will see in the bottom graph in the <strong>cPanel -&gt; Resource Usage<\/strong>\u00a0section.<\/p><p>If you are seeing faults there\u2019s a good chance you either need to optimize your site.
