Resource Limit is Reached\n<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

If you are seeing the following when visiting your website, it means that\u00a0CloudLinux<\/a>\u00a0has stopped the processing of your website due to it reaching the set limit on your account.\u00a0We use\u00a0\u2018CloudLinux\u2019 system to ensure that no single hosting account can monopolize server resources to the detriment of any other. You can check your cPanel screen to see the memory, EP and CPU limits which should provide more details to what is being used up.<\/p>

If your site is consistently hitting its resource limit is reached, you may wish to optimize the script you\u2019re running on your account, or consider an upgrade.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

To view resource limit information for your account, follow these steps:<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Firstly, log in to cPanel.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Secondly, in the METRICS section of the cPanel home screen, click CPU and Concurrent Connection Usage:<\/p>

Thirdly, on the Resource Usage Overview page, cPanel displays a summary for your account. Depending on your account\u2019s resource usage, you may see:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

          • By default, cPanel displays resource usage information for the past 24 hours. To change the time interval displayed, in the\u00a0Timeframe\u00a0list box, select the interval you want, and then click\u00a0Submit.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

            Next, to view resource usage snapshots, click [Snapshots]. Depending on your account\u2019s resource usage, cPanel may display a list of processes and a list of database queries:<\/p>

              • In the calendar, select the date you want to view.<\/li>
              • In the Choose snapshot list box, you can select the snapshot for the specific time you want to view it:<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

                    For your information;<\/p>

                    Under the Process List, we see the following information:<\/p>

                    • PID:<\/strong>\u00a0This is the process ID.<\/li>
                    • CMD:<\/strong>\u00a0This is the actual command that the process ran.<\/li>
                    • CPU:<\/strong>\u00a0This is the CPU usage for the process. In this case,\u00a0bad_script.php<\/em>\u00a0exceeded CPU capacity twice (102% and 101%).<\/li>
                    • MEM:<\/strong>\u00a0This is the amount of memory used by the process, in megabytes.<\/li><\/ul>

                      From this information, we can determine that the PHP script\u00a0bad_script.php<\/em>\u00a0has some sort of problem that causes it to use a large amount of CPU capacity.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
