Why do my emails getting out so slowly? There are many factors that you need to consider when you are sending high volume emails and below are a few general factors:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

i) Email size<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The size of the e-mail varies on the amount of data and slows the delivery of email if your size of e-mail is large. For instance, the content of your e-mail attachments or graphics like photos. We may suggest that you use connections to web server records.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

If you are on a Shared Hosting<\/a> account, the first option – and simplest – is to delete some of the messages in the folder. The other option is to contact our support team and see if they are eligible to move to a new, more efficient backend storage solution.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For VPS or Dedicated hosting package<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

If you are on a VPS<\/a> or Dedicated hosting<\/a> package, you can consider the options above or opt to upgrade your storage disks to SSDs. This allows your server to handle the larger amount of mail in the folders.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For account created before June 1, 2011<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

For an account created before June 1, 2011, there are a couple of ways to fix this. The first is to delete some of the emails out of the folder in order to free up space.<\/p>

Another solution is to change the backend mail storage engine you are using. Accounts created before June 1, 2011, use a different, less efficient backend mail storage engine called MBOX. MBOX\u2019s inefficiency causes high storage folders to hinder the rest of the engine.\u00a0<\/p>

If you want to drastically increase speed, you may want to consider migrating your entire account to one of our currently offered packages. Our current packages use a backend storage system that is even more efficient than Maildir. However, this backend storage option is not compatible with accounts created before June 1, 2011.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Lastly, you can fix the problem by reducing the size of your email. You would need to reduce any large attachments or images in your email. Text only takes up a few KB per sentence, so unless you\u2019re sending an email with thousands of words, you can likely ignore your text. If you can’t reduce your attachment, consider storing it on a shareable platform, such as Google Docs or DropBox, and sharing a link to it in the email.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
