Unfortunately, nowadays, comment spam is a fact of life on the internet. It can be exhilarating to see those new comments show up on your blog. However, that excitement often instantly disappears when you see inappropriate replies to your content. These replies are also known as “spam”. The dictionary defines it as- irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent on the Internet to a large number of user.\u00a0<\/p>

If you choose to enable comments on your website, you will <\/em>surely have to deal with spammers. To prevent your site from making an awful first impression, you\u2019ll need to find a way to stop comment spam.<\/p>

1)\u00a0 Disable<\/strong> the Comments option<\/strong> in both \u201cPages\u201d and \u201cPosts\u201d.<\/div>
Go to \u2013> Pages \u2013> All Pages \u2013> Tick All Pages \u2013> Drop down the \u201cbulk option\u201d \u2013> Choose \u201cEdit\u201d \u2013> Click Apply. \u2013> Go to Comments option \u2013> Drop down and choose \u201cDo Not Allow\u201d and Click Update.<\/div>
Repeat the same option for \u201cPost\u201d.<\/div>

2)\u00a0 Install plugin called \u201cNo Page Comment<\/strong>\u201d and\/or\u00a0\u201cAkismet<\/strong>\u201c.<\/div>
